Welcome at Chateau Julie

Approximately 20 kilometres from the city of Bordeaux, where the Dordogne meets the Garonne, the town of St. Andre de Cubzac is situated. Close to this town, where Jacques Cousteau was born, is where Chateau Julie is located in the nearby village of Virsac. This old wine house used to be called Naudonnet, after the family who built it. A later owner gave it the name of Julie, in honor of his beloved.

Now, ten years after Jos and Wim van der Eijk bought Julie, Renée and Rinse Sevenster will take over the Chateau. Since you must never change a winning horse, most things will remain the same. Yet a few things will be changed. In the future, the Chateau will become a hotel. It will also have a 'Table d'hôtes', where you can dine five evenings in the week. 

What we intend to build is an accommodation in the Bordeaux region where holidaymakers will experience a warm welcome and everything Rinse and Renéecan be realized. We also look forward to your stay with us.
