On the ground Floor of the Chateau you will find a library and the 'Table d'hôtes'.

Both will open in August 2009.  The 'Table d'hôtes' will mainly serve local dishes from the southwest of France. Think of French classics such as Confit de Canard, but also a diverse range of seafood, including oysters, and a delicious selection of regional cheeses. Our dishes will often be enriched with truffles from Perigord.

A meal at Chateau Julie always consist of three courses, and a choice of meat, fish, Asperges

or vegetarian for the main course. The menu’s will be announced  in the mornings and making a reservation is recommended. For the true gourmands there is the possibility to expand the menu with an extra soup or cheese course. Guests can also choose to have two main courses. The portions of the dishes can be adjusted to create a well balanced meal.

With our meals we will naturally serve our own homegrown chateau wines, but we would additionally like to introduce you to other  regional specials such as the wines from our friends at the Chateau Lamour, from Saint Emilion. Aside from local wines we can also provide you will tastes of  other, mainly French, wine regions. Please inquire with us if you are interested in trying our offer of non-regional wines, as these are not listed on our menu.

The 'Table d'hôtes' is open from Tuesday to Saturday. When booking your room at the Chateau you can make your dinner reservation for the night of arrival.
